This summer, Plowshares is encouraging residents to attend the Louisville Urban League‘s FIT to BUY finance homebuyer education program. The course covers budgeting, credit repair, and the practical path to homeownership.
Residents who complete the program and provide proof of completion receive a $50 rent credit applied directly to their ledger.

Stop times at our property run Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a welcoming on-site team from the YMCA helping kids stay nourished, healthy, and connected all summer.
We didn’t create this program — the YMCA did. But we said yes to hosting a stop, and that yes matters. It means kids in our community have one more reason to stay fed and stay close to adults who are paying attention to them.
